Rooting for Resilience was an intimate and elevated gathering hosted by Chanie Banda in support of Reprieve. Designed around the themes of healing, growth, and emotional resilience, the experience brought together women for meaningful conversation, hands-on connection with nature, and a beautifully curated culinary program. The event reflected Reprieve’s mission to help children facing loss and family transition remain rooted, supported, and whole.

Reprieve was honored to be featured at this special concert at Newark Symphony Hall, where a portion of the proceeds supported therapy and healing for children navigating parental loss. During the show, Bracha Jaffe led a live voting contest benefiting Reprieve, giving attendees a chance to engage directly with the cause and celebrate our mission reaching new audiences.

Our work has been featured in local and national outlets that help share the importance of early, accessible emotional support for children:

"For the Love of My Child" by Roizy Waldman: A deeply personal exploration of how divorce shapes the lives of children caught between warring parents — and how it doesn't have to. Through the voices of parents and adult children of divorce, this article reflects the heart of Reprieve's mission: that every child deserves peace, stability, and the freedom to love both parents. Founder Roizy Waldman draws on her experience supporting families in crisis to illustrate how the choices parents make during divorce can either wound or protect their children for life.

"Cup of Tea with Roizy Waldman": An in-depth conversation exploring how Reprieve walks alongside children experiencing parental loss or divorce. This interview captures the story behind our mission, including founder Roizy Waldman's reflection on how loss impacts families across generations and the profound impact of understanding what children face during these difficult transitions.
